Fireplace Update

As we approach DA approval we have decided to go directly with Jetmaster to supply our fireplace as:

1. They are the manufacturers of the fireplace
2. It cuts out the middleman and thus any mark up
3. They have dealt directly with Masterton and other builders directly so many times so have a good understanding of what is required
4. The consultant we are dealing with is actually a trade qualified builder so knows his stuff very well
5. The place that we originally sourced locally to the build just didn’t return emails so Jetmaster’s customer service was excellent in comparison

Our pre construction co-ordinator at M has been great and so helpful in helping us organise this. She has liaised with the construction manager and they have allowed Jetmaster access between frame and sheeting, Jetmaster just need to provide all the insurance documents for the work and for the unit of course. When I get the name of my construction co-ordinator I just have to give this to Jetmaster. The unit, face plate, wood decoration and installation is quoted at $8K so quite reasonable for what we wanted and the unit does project a decent amount of heat and looks really pretty. YAY! I have always wanted a fireplace so hope it looks good.
