I think a few months ago I likened dealing with Masterton Homes to water torture…today I can say it literally is the case. We moved PCI again to next Tuesday (forth time now) because we didn’t have the shower screens installed on time. Plus there’s still a hole in the roof in the bathroom where it leaked through the gyprock and then our weep holes were non compliant to the building code. Therefore we were not at PCI.
Since then they have installed the shower screen but now it’s highlighted the fact the door isn’t square…
Then there’s still the hole in the roof…
Then there’s the leak that’s now developed in the water tank that’s gushing down the side of the house…
Then when they’ve taken the props off the mirrors they installed last week the double sided tape is stuck on my tiles and where they’ve tried to scratch it off I think they’ve scratched the tiles…
And my outstanding list remains pretty much the same bar the weep holes and leaking roof which they did fix…
In conclusion, pretty much every trade that’s come to our house has done an appalling job and had to come back to fix the work that some less experienced person or a person with no pride in their workmanship has done. Our house won’t be perfect that’s for sure…seriously we don’t recommend Masterton to anyone!!
